Many of us wouldn’t mind brushing up our bedroom skills – but would you be willing to let a coach watch you in the act to improve your performance? Sex Life Coach Eric Amaranth counsels couples via Skype, helping them overcome obstacles to a fulfilling intimate life.
“I think far too often, we are afraid to talk about sex with our partners,” says ER Physician Dr. Travis Stork. “We know therapy can really help relationships, and sex is a part often that is missing in therapy, at least the functional elements.”

“If you use sex as one of the skills in enhancing and improving your relationship, and you need a catalyst to talk about it and have this open discussion, maybe some pointers – I think it’s fine!” says Dermatologist Dr. Sonia Batra.
Psychotherapist Dr. Mike Dow admits he often wishes he could observe what his clients do, not just hear what they say they do. “People are terrible self-reporters, especially when it comes to sex.”

“If they try something new and it doesn’t work, it’s very common that people get scared. They throw it away and never do it again,” Eric says. “Don’t do that! Go and try it again, get better information, hire somebody like me – create this great thing you’re going for.”
