Many people believe in the healing and spiritual powers of crystals – now a new product, Chakrubs, claims to put those powers to work “down there.” Can a crystal sex toy give ladies a path to bliss?

Urologist Dr. Jennifer Berman put this product to the test. She followed the instructions to meditate with her rose-quartz crystal toy. She says, “I did feel a calming sense of love!” But when it came time to take things to a personal level, she found she just couldn’t do it. “I was blocked.”

“It wasn’t for you?” asks ER Physician Dr. Travis Stork. She agrees, “And I have no problems with sex toys.”

Ob/Gyn Dr. Nita Landry has trouble with the whole concept. “I’m not buying it,” she says. She adds that safety and hygiene are always issues with adult toys. Is it easy to clean between uses? And could the hard stone (and it’s not a small object) potentially cause internal injury?
